Speculation about English singer Paul McCartney’s first international concert at the MRV Arena increased this Thursday (May 4th). According to journalist José Norberto Flesch, who specializes in major artistic events, the former Beatle will come to Brazil at the end of November 2023.
He didn’t confirm dates and locations, but Belo Horizonte is on the radar the last time Paul was in the capital of Minas Gerais was in Mineirão in 2017. This increases speculation about a presentation in the new stadium Sporty.
A major international show was promised among the arena’s opening events. According to Bruno Muzzi, CEO of the stadium, the attraction has already been confirmed, but due to contractual issues it will not be announced until May.
“We can’t talk yet due to contractual issues, but the idea is that by the end of May we can announce who the international artist is,” he said on April 15, the first day of the space’s opening.
