Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen and Christy Turlington enjoy a reunion with the supermodels of the 1990s

Legendary 1990s supermodels Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen and Christy Turlington reunited on Instagram this week.

The star trio were at the forefront of fashion three decades ago when their colleague Linda Evangelista told Vogue, “We don’t wake up for less than $10,000 a day.”

When they last met, Cindy, 57, Christy, 54, and Helena, 54, exuded the same megawatt glamor they were celebrated for all those years ago.

Gathered in front of an elegant art display, they smiled brightly as they posed for snap after snap to demonstrate their enduring bond.

Her Instagram album also included special appearances from Cindy’s daughter Kaia Gerber, Helena’s son Mingus Reedus and Christy’s daughter Grace Burns.

Helena pushed her enviably slim figure into a skintight chrome green cocktail dress with a swirling pine tree motif.

Meanwhile, Cindy tucked her sleek black blouse into her high-waisted jeans in a move that accentuated her still enviably petite frame.

Christy, on the other hand, donned a black blazer over a midnight blue top and wore her hair in luxuriously bouncy curls.

Kaia, Mingus and Grace have all followed in their mothers’ footsteps into modeling – now amid a social media backlash to “Nepo babies”.

Cindy shares Kaia, 21, with her dashing second husband, Rande Gerber, who co-founded tequila brand Casamigos with George Clooney and one Mike Meldman.

Helena welcomed Mingus in 1999 with her ex Norman Reedus, who has since become a global star on The Walking Dead and is now dating Diane Kruger.

Grace is now Christy’s daughter to smoldering actor Edward Burns, with whom she will celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary next month.

Mingus was sentenced to private counseling last year after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct after claiming he punched an unidentified woman in the face at the San Gennaro Festival in Manhattan.

Although he was initially charged with assault, his lawyer told the charges had been downgraded to disorderly conduct.

In an interview with the New York Daily News, Mingus claimed the woman was part of a group of “girls who are under the influence and looking for a fight.”

He insisted that “these girls swarmed over me, one pulling my hair out of my back, another splashing water on my face” – so as a form of self-defense he “threw out his arm” and accidentally hit one of the women.

“It was instinct. I responded to them doting on me and fearing for the safety of my group,” Mingus said, claiming the women’s gang he ran afoul of “threatened to hurt my friend and her friend.”

He describes the course of events: “Ten seconds later the police got involved. Police saw one of the girls injured and refused to hear the context.
