Noodles found in New Jersey: Man dumped over 250 pounds of noodles in the woods

New Jersey (USA) – How do more than 250 kilos of pasta end up in a forest? This mystery is now officially solved!

During the week, the case of the American city of Old Bridge Township, near New Jersey, made headlines. How did the mountains of spaghetti, macaroni and ziti end up in this very unusual place?

Nina Jochnowitz, who “stumbled” on the pasta mountain while hiking and immediately shared her strange discovery online, spoke to the “New York Post” about the background.

According to him, surveillance cameras in a neighborhood of the North American city recorded how a man carried hundreds of kilos of raw pasta from a house into his car. But the background of this action is sad!

According to Jochnowitz, the man’s mother died recently – and according to camera recordings, the mountains of noodles would be in the woman’s house. Why? This is not clear.

“There were so many noodles. I think he was impressed by it,” explains Jochnowitz when asked why the man dumped the spaghetti and company into the nearby woods.

The Old Bridge public works department has since cleaned up the mess, claiming the batter was not cooked when it was poured. However, this was accepted on social media. Only the rain made the noodles soft – as seen in the tastings.

Incidentally, neither the small American town nor Nina Jochnowitz want to publicly reveal the identity of the man, who they say had a military background. “I don’t want him to go through all that trauma again after his mother died,” Jochnowitz told the New York Post.

By the way, the city authorities themselves have not yet made a statement to the press. There, after the clearing work, it can be expected that mountains of noodles will not appear in the forest again overnight…
