Global Firepower, an American organization that rates and classifies most powerful armies from all over the world has recently updated its ranking and Brazil does not feature in the top 10 this time. With this in mind, 60 criteria were assessed, ranging from the number of military units, to the financial situation, to logistical and geographic capabilities.
Countries were given scores from 0 to 1, with the closer to 0 being the more powerful the nation.
The United States retains the lead, followed by Russia and China
The United States retained the lead, followed by Russia and China. India is fourth, followed by the UK and South Korea, which have fallen one spot.
Pakistan, which has moved up two places, is seventh, Japan eighth and Turkey, which has fallen two places, is ninth. Germany completes the top 10.
