In the film De Volta à Lagoa Azul, a widow and two babies are left on board a small boat at sea after a cholera epidemic. After several days of sailing in the Pacific, they find an island paradise.
On site, Lilli and Richard have to learn how to survive on their own after the woman’s death. As they grow up, they both discover details about themselves and their own bodies.
Richard was played by an actor Brian Krause. He grew up in El Toro, California, the youngest of two children born to Alice and Jeff Krause. He had his first television appearance as one of the students in the series “TV 101”.
He then appeared in the cast of other productions until being cast for the 1991 classic. Directed by William A. Graham and written by Leslie Stevens, the film is based on author Henry De Vere Stacpoole’s novel The Garden of God.
