Tom Cruise made a cameo appearance during King Charles’ star-studded Coronation concert on Sunday night in a surprise recorded segment.
The A-list actor, 60, flew a plane in the cameo during the interlude between performances, as stars including Pierce Brosnan and Bear Grylls discussed the King’s military service.
A clip then appeared on screen of Tom flying a plane and quipping, “Pilot to pilot – Your Majesty, you can be my wingman anytime!”
King Charles served in both the Navy and Air Force during his military career between 1971 and 1994.
The King and Queen of the Royal Family joined around 20,000 members of the public at the Coronation Concert to continue the celebrations following their coronation at Westminster Abbey on Saturday.

The coronation concert features Paloma Faith, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and veteran rock guitarist Steve Winwood.
The Windsor show, hosted by Downton Abbey and Paddington star Hugh Bonneville, begins at 8pm on Sunday 7 May.
Buckingham Palace has promised “global music icons and contemporary stars” for the big concert.
It will certainly be the highlight of the second coronation day, when around 20,000 citizens are expected.
Classic acts such as Andrea Bocelli, Welsh bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel and Chinese pianist Lang Lang are also on the programme.
Hollywood star Tom Cruise, Dynasty actress Dame Joan Collins, adventurer Bear Grylls, singer Sir Tom Jones and former Strictly Come Dancing pro Oti Mabuse will also be featured via video.
The series of pre-recorded sketches will reveal little-known facts about the monarch and will also include moments from popular literary character Winnie the Pooh – seemingly a repeat of the famous moment Paddington Bear had tea with the Queen during her platinum anniversary celebrations.

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage, DJ Pete Tong with his project Ibiza Classics and talent show winner The Piano TV, 13-year-old Lucy will also perform.
Meanwhile, fashion designer Stella McCartney will deliver a spoken-word performance with a conservation theme that will reflect her and the royal’s “shared passion for environmental sustainability,” the BBC said.
Her performance will be part of a broader nature-themed section of the concert, which will also include a rendition of a 1980s hit by classic soul composer Alexis French and London-based singer-songwriter Zak Abel, along with a resident orchestra, band and choir will include.
Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor will also deliver a spoken word performance.
The Royal Ballet, Royal Opera, Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal College of Music and Royal College of Art will come together for the first time to create a once-in-a-lifetime performance starring Sex Education and Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa and Olivier Award nominees Mei Mac.
The concert will be broadcast on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.
Former Desert Island Discs and Crimewatch presenter Kirsty Young will host the special live broadcast of the concert in the grounds of Windsor Castle, after reporting from a studio at Buckingham Palace on Saturday’s Coronation Day.
The concert on the Castle’s East Lawn also features TV presenter Clara Amfo and Diversity Dance Group member Jordan Banjo speaking backstage with the performers.
At Saturday’s coronation, King Charles and Queen Camilla were officially crowned by Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.
King Charles, 74, automatically assumed the throne after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September last year.
