Dona Déa Lúcia, mother of Paulo Gustavo (19782021), revealed details of the comedian’s will, which was drawn up three years before his death. The comedian left his parents an apartment with the desire that they sell the property to make money. However, Déa preferred to buy the role of her exhusband Júlio Márcio and moved there.

In an interview with Giovanna Ewbank and Fernanda Paes Leme on Quem Pode, Pod on Tuesday (9), Déa said her son left a will as a precaution. The document was created when the comedian was only 39 years old.

After the death of her son, who contracted Covid19 at the age of 42, Déa decided to move to the Rio de Janeiro estate, where she would be close to her grandchildren and Juliana Amaral, her youngest daughter. “Juju also works in Rio, in the audiovisual field. I live in an apartment that he left me and his father in his will.”

“He left this apartment to my father and me. We should sell them and take some money,” she reported. But after negotiating the rights to the documentary film Filho da Mãe (2022) with Prime Video, Déa managed to save enough money to buy the other part of the apartment.

The comedian’s mother also admitted to the presenters that she can’t always keep her good mood and that she will always suffer when her son leaves.

“When people tell me that I have power, I reply that I have no power. I have trust. Faith helps me get up and do my work. My work is not only at Luciano.” [Huck, no Domingão]. But the work at home, the fact that I go to the market. I am the manager of my family, I see my grandchildren. I’m suffering, I’m talking and I’m laughing here, but I’m suffering,” he admitted.
