The stars end the party in Seattle

The stars return to the series

The Dallas Stars won 6-3 on Tuesday night and tied their series against the Seattle Kraken 2-2.

The fourth game in the series was presented on TVA Sports and TVA Sports Direct.

Jamie Benn scored Dallas’ first goal late in the first period with his second playoff entry on the power play.

Then, early in the second half, young defender Thomas Harley doubled his team’s lead by accepting a throw-in from former Habs Max Domi. Domi then made it 3-0 in a series that required a video review for goalie interference.

A few moments later, Joe Pavelski made it 4-0 for the guests with his sixth playoff goal.

Jaden Schwartz finally gave Seattle the lead before the end of the second period by deflecting a pass from Justin Schultz behind goalie Jake Oettinger. But in the last minute of the middle section, Roope Hintz secured his team the four-goal priority again.

Thanks to Jaden Schwartz’s second game and defender Adam Larsson’s first playoff, the Kraken managed to close the gap to 5-3 in the third period. But Max Domi sealed the game with an empty goal. Evgeni Dadonov got his second assist of the game in that series.

Jake Oettinger had a quiet night in front of the Stars’ net, stopping 16 of 19 shots he faced. His opponent Philip Grubauer, who let Martin Jones go first at the end of the game, gave up five times in 22 shots.

Forward Jared McCann made a comeback for the Kraken after being sidelined since his injury in game four of the series against the Colorado Avalanche. He was removed from the rating list.

Game 5 of the series takes place in Dallas on Thursday.
