The 2023 league pass market will finally change the start date after the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) Competitions Commission made this change in the bases with the approval of clubs like Alianza Lima, Universitario de Deportes and Sporting Cristal. This way, the transfer window starts later than expected considering the start of the Clausura tournament.
As reported by RPP, the passport market should start on May 30th and end on June 26th. However, this change made stipulated that the transfer window would run from June 16th to July 13th, which would coincide with the start of the Clausura, which is scheduled for the two-week period in June.

League 1: who agreed to change the start date of the transfer market?
According to journalist Kevin Pacheco, clubs Alianza Lima, Universitario and Sporting Cristal have agreed to change the start of the transfer market at this point. He also revealed that attempts were being made to change the norm on the quota for foreigners.
“The Competition Commission has changed the start date of the League 1 passbook. The change was made to match the time period with the end of the Torneo Apertura. It was approved by Alianza Lima, Universitario and Sporting Cristal,” read his Twitter account.
“It is the only change that Alianza Lima and Universitario support. As for an alleged change in the regulation of foreign players (two can be changed and not just one), both clubs are against it,” he explained.
