Even as the string of good weather continues in Quebec on Thursday and Friday, the arrival of a system with storm potential risks delaying precipitation in its path and causing mercury to drop.
Environment Canada forecasts the province will be hit by a cold front with precipitation and a low risk of thunderstorms Friday through Saturday, but good weather is likely over the weekend.
Meanwhile, almost everywhere in Quebec, Thursday presents itself with fair weather conditions with generally sunny weather and summery temperatures, especially in Montreal where the temperature is 25 degrees.
The same topo is expected for Friday in the center of the province, albeit with more clouds potentially bringing showers to several sectors of Mauricie, Quebec and Saguenay.
The system coming from the west of the province will then move towards eastern Quebec where it will face mixed fortunes with generally sunny weather on Thursday and showers of rain the next day when temperatures are expected to rise significantly.
But good weather, with generous sunshine and more spring-like temperatures, will return to southern and central Quebec over the weekend, while cloudier skies are expected for eastern parts of Quebec province.
