The British government will broadcast rockets Longrange weapons for the Ukrainian army, the Defense Minister of Ukraine said in a statement United Kingdom, Ben Wallace. “Today I can confirm that the UK is donating Storm Shadow missiles Ukraine. “Storm Shadows” are conventional, precisionguided, longrange missiles,” Wallace told the House of Commons in the European Parliament. The potential deployment, now ratified, has been met with threats from Russia, which interprets these new capabilities for Ukraine as an escalation that will be responded to appropriately. “The donation of these weapons systems gives Ukraine the best chance to defend itself against Russian brutality, particularly against deliberate attacks on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure in violation of international law,” Wallace said in his statement.

“Ukraine has the right to oppose this,” the minister affirmed, stressing that these missiles “will allow Ukraine to expel Russian forces located within Ukrainian sovereign territory.” The defense minister said he did not intend to talk about the capabilities of these missiles, but noted that “these systems are not even at the level of the Russian AS24 Killjoy hypersonic missiles,” nor at the level of “Kalibr cruise missiles, which have a range of 2,000 kilometres, about seven times the range of Storm Shadow.” “Russia needs to recognize that its actions have led to the delivery of these systems to Ukraine,” said the British minister, concluding that this was “a balanced and proportionate response to Russia’s escalations”.
