In fact, tickets are available from as little as 10,000 euros (CA$14,717) in advance, but a full trip will set you back more than $190,000.

Founded by former air traffic controller Vincent Farret d’Astiès, the space tourism company organizes trips in a pressurized capsule called the Celeste, which is attached to a stratospheric balloon, CNN reports.

The first departures are planned for the end of 2024 at the earliest.

These original flights can carry six passengers and two pilots at a maximum altitude of 4 meters per second for 90 minutes.

The capsule then hovers above the ground for around three hours, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a multi-course Michelin meal and sip a fine glass of wine.
