(CNN) – Paul Walker’s daughter, model Meadow Walker Thornton-Allan, is honoring her late father’s legacy with a cameo in upcoming movie Fast X.
Thornton-Allan posted a preview of her appearance in the film on her verified Instagram page on Thursday and wrote about how much it meant to her to be a part of Fast X, the tenth installment in the Fast & Furious series what her father is known for.
“The first fast was introduced when I was one year old! I grew up on set watching my dad, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and others on the monitors. I was born into the fast family thanks to my dad,” Thornton-Allan said in the caption of her post, which featured a photo of the scene in which she performs.
“I can’t believe I get to be up there now, too,” she added.
Walker died in December 2013 while in the passenger seat of a Porsche Carrera GT driven by a racing team partner that crashed into a light pole in Valencia, California. he was 40
His career began in the early 1970s when he starred as undercover cop Brian O’Conner in the 2001 film The Fast and the Furious. Walker went on to star in six installments in the Fast franchise, including Furious 7, which he was working on at the time of his death. Furious 7 was released posthumously in 2015.
Fast Jason Momoa, Rita Moreno and Brie Larson will join the cast, in addition to Jason Statham, John Cena and Academy Award winners Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron, also returning from previous fast-paced forays.
Thornton-Allan ended her post by writing that she feels “so blessed to be able to honor my father’s legacy and share it with him forever.”
Fast X hits theaters on May 19th.
