Briny Breezes’ few hundred residents enjoy all the perks of luxe beach living as their affluent neighbors who live in the Palm Beach villas next door – but at a fraction of the price.

Ten miles away is Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. Nearby are dozens of multi-million dollar homes.

But in Briny Breezes there are no stately homes, only mobile ones.

And when a previously unknown developer wanted to change everything and offered more than half a billion dollars for the purchase, the local residents were almost unanimous in their answer: It must be a joke!

And even now, they don’t regret their decision to turn down the offer, as got an insight into the community and spoke to residents who turned down the $502,496,000 offer.

“This is paradise,” resident Chuck Swift told . “I mean, you’re sitting on my boat right now, and I’m living the same lifestyle as a mega-multimillionaire who’s six blocks south.” Obviously, it’s a trailer, but I can drive to the bay or the ocean or take a golf cart to the beach drive. Toes in the sand and lift up the paddle board.

“And where else can you have all that?”

“We got $510 million.” [offer] in 2006. And while that deal fell through, it was a better deal than that deal,” Arena said. “Real estate values and the cost of living have increased dramatically since then.” So offering the same amount and even a little less is absurd.

The $502 million bid to purchase the property was made last month.

Community managers emailed the 600 residents about the offer, warning them that there was “no clear idea of what the buyer is proposing for the redevelopment.”

Residents gathered for a meeting to discuss the offer, but many refused to even consider selling.

“As a real estate agent who was born and raised here, offering a $50,000 down payment on a $500 million deal is absurd.” First, I get a $50,000 down payment for single followers. Most of the time, buyers buy here just cash, spending $250,000 to well over $700,000 on these mobile homes. Cash.’
