The Oilers equalize the series

The Edmonton Oilers earned a 4-1 win Wednesday night, leveling their streak 2-2 against the Vegas Golden Knights.

The game was featured on TVA Sports and TVA Sports Direct.

Edmonton quickly built a 2-0 lead early in the game, with goals from Nick Bjugstad and Evan Bouchard in under a minute. Then defender Mattias Ekholm followed up with a powerful slap shot before the end of the first period that left goalkeeper Adin Hill no chance.

The Oilers extended their lead in the second third when Ryan Nugent-Hopkins finally got his first playoff pick.

Nicolas Roy was the only one to defeat Stuart Skinner by also scoring his first goal of the playoffs in the third period.

The Oilers goaltender ended the game with 25 saves. Golden Knights goalie Adin Hill stopped 29 of 33 shots he faced.

Connor McDavid finished the game with two assists.

Golden Knights defenseman Alex Pietrangelo was knocked out late in the third period after hitting Leon Draisaitl hard.

The session ended in an uproar and several penalty minutes were assessed.

The fifth game in the series will be presented in Las Vegas on Friday.
