MP Mario Frias insults and knocks down a journalist’s mobile phone in the plenary hall; see check

Federal MP and former Special Secretary for Culture Mario Frias (PLSP) was filmed swearing and hitting journalist Guga Noblat’s mobile phone during a hearing before the Communications Commission of the Chamber of Deputies today.

What happened:

In the video, Frias appears to be saying something to Noblat and then taps the phone that filmed the scene.

O UOL tried to contact the defense of MP Mário Frias but received no immediate reply.

The journalist published the video on his social networks and said that he had been called a “dwarf” by the deputy. Noblat stated that he started recording after being cursed by Frias.

The weather is going to be nice here in the Communications Committee. Deputy Mário Frias just attacked me. At first he called me a “dwarf,” then he snatched my phone from my hand when I tried to film his insult. keep cool mario

In another post, Noblat says he didn’t address Frias and that the deputy “made up misdemeanor”.

I hadn’t even spoken to Mário Frias. He came at me with insults because I interviewed him on The Morning Show last year and addressed questions about alleged corruption against him. Since he was unable to provide an answer, he appears to remain hateful to this day.”

In a third video shared tonight, the journalist poked fun at the deputy. “It’s good that Mario Frias is a terrible actor and no one believes him.”

The confusion arose during a hearing determining the establishment of a special anticensorship subcommittee made up entirely of members of the opposition to the Lula government in the chamber.

In addition to Mario Frias himself, the group consists of Gustavo Gayer (PLGO), Filipe Barros (PLPR), Julia Zanatta (PLSC) and Nikolas Ferreira (PLMG), who will act as rapporteur.
