Originally called Cleopatra and the Attractions, her debut single Cleopatra’s Theme hit number three on the charts.

Her next three singles from her album Comin’ Atcha! reached the top 5 and subsequently received nominations for the BRIT and MOBO Awards.

Madonna signed Cleopatra to her Maverick label in the US and the band were invited to support the Spice Girls on the UK leg of their sold-out Spiceworld tour.

Cleo appeared with will.i.am as a coach on The Voice in 2013 and made it to the semifinals.

Cleo and Peter’s collaboration comes after it was revealed that Peter was embroiled in a £262,000 financial dispute after his private company went bust.

While his ex-wife Katie Price’s money woes are well documented, the singer also ran into financial difficulties when PJA Promotions appointed a liquidator on May 9 to wind up the company.

The dispute concerns £229,125 in corporation tax which HMRC says he owes and a further £25,577 in VAT, plus £7,592 to commercial creditors, both of whom are financial firms.

According to the insolvency practitioner’s business statement, it is uncertain how much of this will be recovered and £5,000 for furniture and equipment is expected to bring no revenue.

PJA Promotions are understood to have defaulted after Andre’s touring schedule ground to a halt during the coronavirus pandemic.

He said, “Luckily I saved for you and all the royalties that came in which I had no idea dad saved and I had enough to buy two or three great properties.” “So I started, Buy real estate before anything happened here.”
