On Thursday May 11th Train service in and out of Penn Station New York is operating with select cancellations and delays of up to 30 minutes due to extensive repairs to the signaling system at the Portal Bridge. Train tickets and passes are accepted by NJ TRANSIT Bus, private transportation companies and PATH at Newark Penn Station, Hoboken and 33rd Street-NY. Midtown Direct service on the Morris & Essex and Montclair-Boonton line will be rerouted to Hoboken with select cancellations. All Raritan Valley Line trains will depart/terminate in Newark for the remainder of the service day.
