Miguel Trauco is currently playing in the Major League Soccer (MLS). The Peru team’s left-back joined the San Jose Earthquakes in September 2022 after progressing through Ligue 1 Saint-Étienne. The 30-year-old player has made 8 appearances for the club so far this season, with the last 3 being a starter. In the last few hours, rumors have been spreading that Alianza Lima has contacted the winger in order to reach an agreement and sign him for the Clausura tournament.
Nevertheless, Sports journalist Gustavo Peralta denied this information and pointed out from the footballer’s environment confirmed that there were “no negotiations” between the blue and white team and Trauco.
“In response to requests and journalistic versions, we were able to consult with Miguel Trauco’s managers and they confirm that there are no negotiations or approaches regarding an interest in the player from Alianza Lima,” he published on his official Twitter account.
Trauco made his MLS debut with the San Jose Earthquakes on September 25, 2022 signed a contract until the end of 2023. The former Universitario player has played 7 league games and 1 US Open Cup game, playing a total of 490 minutes.
