Gilberto Santa Rosa is opening a new restaurant in Miami

The scene looks like something out of a movie. Gilberto Santa Rosa, Jose Luis Rodriguez “El Puma”and the Cuban Aymee Nuviola They join their voices in a refrain labeled “cuando llegaré/cuando llegaré al bohío,” a song popularized by Guillermo Portabales, with their backs to an emerald green curtain next to a red grand piano. Although it may seem like a planned meeting at a concert or dance hall, it was actually the inauguration of the new restaurant “Místico” in Santa Rosa, Miami.

Santa Rosa created this new concept together with the Colombian singer Silvestre Dangond. The place specializes in Spanish tapas and incorporates elements akin to those of a ‘piano bar’.

The menu includes a wide range of cheeses, hot and cold tapas, salads, rice dishes, seafood, meats and two pricey main courses.
