Arnold Schwarzenegger is stoking critics who accuse him of flying a private jet to his annual Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative conference

Arnold Schwarzenegger defended his stance on climate change and got the chance to lecture some of his critics on social media.

It began on Sunday when the 75-year-old actor and activist, whose life is being explored in new Netflix documentary Arnold, posted a photo of himself aboard a flight bound for Vienna for its annual Schwarzenegger climate initiative summit.

“Heading to @ArnoldSCI for this year’s summit in Vienna,” he wrote on social media alongside the snap while lounging comfortably in what appeared to be a prime seat.

Climate change deniers were quick to respond to the post.

“There is no climate emergency and all private jets are proving they all know it,” one commented on Twitter.

The strong man answered politely.

“This is a commercial flight – I really hope you don’t keep making up things to get angry about. ‘I don’t want you to feel this bad.’

Another critic had a similar sentiment, asking, “How much are you being paid to spread the hoax?”

This time, the Terminator star used common sense in his retort.

“Please don’t invent anything to get angry about,” he said. “Just be logical.”

Then he asked a few questions himself.

“If someone is paying people to change the way they talk about pollution, who has more money than the oil companies?” Go against the establishment while obeying the orders of a group of wealthy fossil fuel executives ?

The action hero kept his cool when he was called a hypocrite for allegedly traveling on a private jet.

“So your private jet is solar powered, right? It’s the hypocrisy that pisses people off. Got it?’

‘Once again. “It’s a commercial Lufthansa flight,” replied the “Kindergarten Cop” star.

Then he gave some advice.

“Before you spend all day searching Twitter for the wrong reasons to be angry, spend a few minutes looking in the mirror and find out the real reason you’re upset.” Work on it. Do the reps. Do you feel uncomfortable? One day you will thank me.’
