Kate Middleton reportedly refused to curtsey to the new Queen Camilla at her coronation on May 6, and according to one royal biographer, the Princess of Wales was even “angry” at the new monarch, reports the New York Post.
Tom Bower claims that Kate Middleton refused to curtsy to the Queen as she left Westminster Abbey because of the coronation guest list.

According to Mr Bower, the Princess of Wales would have been upset that she could only invite four members of her family to the coronation, unlike Camilla, who could expect 20 people to attend.
“If you watch the footage of the coronation, when the king and queen leave their thrones and leave Westminster Abbey, you will see everyone bowing and curtseying to the king and nobody moving a limb or muscle when Camilla comes by .” said Mr. Bower in an article in the New York Post.

“And that’s because they were mad at Camilla,” he continues.
He also claims that this tension was felt at the royal concert the following day, when Prince William made no reference to Queen Camilla in his speech.
