HBO Max has announced exactly when the new episodes of the Sex and the City revival will be released, in Italy on Sky and streaming on NOW.
The first teaser trailer of And just like that… 2 had already shaken us when he announced that the new episodes of the revival of Sex and the City they would arrive in June. On the occasion of the presentation of the Warner Bros. Discovery novelties to the press at Madison Square Garden in New York, a precise date has now been announced: in Italy, the series will return simultaneously on Sky and in streaming on NOW on 23rd June. In the new episodes we find the old friend Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) while experiencing a new phase of life between old acquaintances and exciting new encounters. Her horizons had already expanded as new characters were introduced Nicole Ari Parker, Sarita Choudhury, Karen Pittman And Sara Ramirez who will also return in this second season. After going through and overcoming the grief of her husband’s death, Carrie is ready to open her heart again and her path will cross that of an old acquaintance. The creator of the series Michael Patrick King assured that the second season will in some way respond to the various criticisms of the fans, somehow going back to the origins of Sex and the City, when – as the title suggests – the main themes of the series were precisely Sex and the City New York, who will return as protagonists in the new episodes. “In my thought process, Season 2 is largely a reaction to the reactions that Season 1 evoked,” he explained. While the first season was about death and pain, the protagonists in the second follow the motto “Life is short, so live”.
