Two people banned from Disney World after on-camera brawl for photo op: police

Two people have been banned from Walt Disney World after they got into a fight with another family at the theme park during a photo op, police said.

The brawl broke out around 2:30 p.m. Monday outside the 100th anniversary sign at the front of the Magic Kingdom, the Orange County sheriff’s office confirmed.

One family – dubbed the “victim family” by police – posed for a group photo in front of the huge memorial when another larger family came into the picture.

“When the suspect’s family was told to move so the picture could be taken, a member of the suspect’s family slapped a member of the victim’s family in the face and a fight ensued,” police said.

Two people “received a trespassing warning, meaning they are not welcome on the property,” the sheriff’s office said.

“If they return, they can be arrested.”

Police did not say who received the trespassing warnings, but said they belonged to the “suspect family”.

A shocking video captured the scuffle and showed the families throwing punches at each other while a man lay on the ground while Disney employees shouted for support.

The warring factions can be heard yelling and swearing at each other as the workers tried to split them up.

A man who was thrown to the ground struggled to get back to his feet and chose to remain seated, video shows.

At least one person received medical treatment at the scene.

The victim refused to press charges and no one was arrested after the fight.

Walt Disney World prohibits, according to its website, “using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior, skipping queues, or keeping a seat in a queue free for others.”

The Walt Disney World Resort did not immediately respond to the Post’s request for comment.
