Kierra Sheard-Kelly is expecting her first baby with husband Jordan Kelly.

According to People, the 35-year-old gospel singer announced that she and the 32-year-old entrepreneur – who have been married since 2020 – are about to give birth to their first child together.

The exciting news comes after the Indescribable hitmaker opened up about having suffered two miscarriages in the past, which she said “brought me close to death”.

In an article published Tuesday, the author of “The Vibes You Feel” told the publication, “I am so excited and blessed to have this opportunity to carry my prayers and watch our baby grow.”

“I’m most looking forward to raising a game changer, loving someone so much and having the same impact that my mother had on me,” she continued. “I think I’m going to raise one of my best friends!”

In the Grammy nominee’s statement, she said her faith helped her get through the devastating miscarriages she suffered in the past.

“God still showed me that He was in charge and that I should keep believing,” she recalls.

“I was scared and worried, but God was constantly sending me reminders and avenues of affirmation,” she continued.

Sheard-Kelly also said that her husband is a great support when times are tough.

“My husband’s faith and professions have often made up for my lack,” she explained.

“He gave me courage to know that I’m still loved, whether we had that moment or not,” she gushed of her husband. “When we agree, we create our love child and bring us closer together.”

Alongside her loving partner, she also said she has a supportive group of people and resources by her side: “I downloaded faith books, prayed for my womb and baby every morning, and surrounded myself with a very supportive and praying community.” ‘

“As a result, here we see our prayers being answered,” she added. “I felt the presence of God in my lap and it was one of the most auspicious moments of my life.”

The parents-to-be had known each other since they were kids and attended the same church, Sheard-Kelly revealed on Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell in July 2020.

A few months later, in December, the two finally tied the knot.

A year later, they celebrated their wedding anniversary with a lavish dream wedding – previously restricted due to the pandemic.

The couple tied the knot in a stunning ceremony attended by all family and friends in Detroit, Michigan.
