Julie Perreault comments on her experience directing STAT – Showbizz.net

Jean-Phillipe Wauthier received his girlfriend Julie Perreault at Bonsoir bonsoir on Tuesday evening.

Together they discussed various topics, including their new identity as directors and their experiences on the set of STAT.

The actress says she didn’t take this new role lightly. “I left with so much humility,” she says.

“It’s a conversation I had with Fabienne. I was curious, but I had to go and observe. To me, it makes sense in a way that I’m an actress, but I’m also a photographer, so there are departments that don’t intimidate me. But to direct, you’re not a director just because you have a point of view and an opinion on the set to do two jobs. It doesn’t work that way, it’s a job. It’s a fun place to learn because it rolls [le plateau de STAT]. »

“I really enjoyed it,” she says of her experience. “On the other hand, if you had asked me during filming, I would have said to you, ‘I don’t know, I don’t have time to answer.’ I am not joking. After all that, when I was done, I said, “I’m going to decant all of that.” Yes, I really enjoyed it, but it’s like learning something challenging. I had to be good. »

She adds: “I invested a lot, worked hard and loved the cast and the writer very much. It really is a privilege. I don’t consider it as such an experience, by the way…”
