Miranda Kerr has revealed that she and ex-husband Orlando Bloom are very friendly exes.
The Aussie supermodel opens up this week on Stellar’s Something To Talk About podcast that she and British actor Orlando have a great relationship and are happily co-parenting their 12-year-old son Flynn.
“From day one, Orlando and I have been truly committed to putting Flynn’s needs first in everything we do.” “That’s how he grew up — with two loving parents who want the best for him,” said the 40 year old.
‘[Flynn] “See that in the way we communicate and in all the special moments we share together when we celebrate different milestones and when we go on vacations together,” Miranda continued.
“I think it gives him peace of mind knowing that with us his needs always come first and of course we all get along so well.” It’s very special. I feel very lucky.’

The runway star went on to explain that she gets along so well with Orlando’s fiancé, Katy Perry, that she considers the American pop star “a sister.”
“I literally say every day how grateful I am for Katy,” the beauty gushed, adding that the women often share parenting tips.
“I feel very blessed to have this relationship with her.” “She’s really like a sister to me and we kind of bonded from day one,” she said.
Miranda and Orlando were married between 2010 and 2013 and have one son, Flynn Bloom, 12.

Miranda spoke about all things maternity in Vogue Australia magazine’s August issue last year.
She admitted she didn’t think she would return to modeling after the birth of her first child, Flynn, in 2011, but was “grateful that my body was able to come back.”

The mother-of-three added, “I still don’t feel like I’m back where I was before the babies.” But I’m happy with that.

They married just a month after their June 2010 engagement, but announced their divorce in October 2013.
