A section of the departmental road that crosses the Morin section in Saint-Claude is considered particularly dangerous by local residents. Three people died in traffic accidents there recently. County residents are demanding more security from the community.
Since the beginning of 2023, 17 people have died on the streets of Guadeloupe.
The axes of the entire territory can become the scene of fatal accidents. However, some parts are known to be dangerous. This is the case in the very busy and winding département 25 near Morin in the town of Saint-Claude. Three fatal accidents have already been registered there.
Which worries local residents, who also note that some users are not respecting the speed limit set at 50 km/h.
The residents and the Morin 92 association sent their complaints to the municipality. They call for concrete measures to secure the places, especially at the crossroads between the department and the numerous paths, including the exits of private properties. There are 48 in total along this path.
