Marcos Mion’s clothes in Caldeirão are increasingly attracting the attention of the audience watching the Globo broadcast. This Saturday (20) Mion wore an outfit that, for many Brazilians, does not correspond to reality: a luxury sweatshirt from the French brand Louis Vuitton, which costs 12 minimum wages. The fact resonated around the internet.
Mion’s sweatshirt is white with black details and a design that combines plaid, coconut trees and a paradise beach. It also has a rain hood. The price is quite high: according to the French brand’s website in Brazil, it costs R$ 16,100 in cash. Larger sizes are currently sold out and only the children’s model is for sale.
In Brazil, Louis Vuitton has two stores in São Paulo, one for women and the other for men. However, it’s possible Mion bought the piece outside of the country: in addition to his official residence, he has a home in Miami, in the United States where there are several representatives of the brand.
It’s not the first time that Mion has attracted attention with her look. In February, he bought another sneaker for his collection with the intention of attending the NBA AllStar Game that was taking place that month. He spent BRL 28,160 on crystalencrusted shoes. “What madness, what sneakers!” he exclaimed as he showed the model.
The piece, signed by German designer Philipp Plein, can be purchased on the website of the store, which opened its first store in Brazil last year in Rio de Janeiro.
“What a high, look at the quality of these sneakers. Folks, this is all made of crystal. And it stinks too much,” joked Suzana Gullo’s husband, shocked by his new acquisition. “It’s not a sneaker that we’re used to, it’s of the highest level, of absurd quality. I’ll just be me on the red carpet,” he laughed.
“Honestly, I am shocked by this sneaker. Look how it shines, what a beautiful thing. With the camera you can’t even see him as well as in real life, what madness, what sneakers. Absurd, ladies and gentlemen,” he added.
