Taylor Swift has millions of fans around the world, but perhaps her biggest fan is a Tennessee accountant who was hired as a security guard so he could attend his favorite singer’s show.
Like many people, Davis Perrigo couldn’t get tickets to Taylor Swift’s show, whose The Eras Tour was in Nashville in early May.
However, the accountant by trade wasn’t discouraged and managed to get hired as a security guard at Nissan Stadium in Nashville a month before Taylor Swift’s show.
His plan worked because he was in front of the stage when his idol came to interpret his greatest hits.
Unfortunately, Davis Perrigo wasn’t allowed to use his cell phone to commemorate the event as he was working but still enjoying his evening… maybe even a little too much!
In fact, the accountant-turned-security guard was filmed by several viewers singing Taylor Swift’s songs with great enthusiasm during the show.
Mr Perrigo even admitted to being reprimanded by the singer’s security team, asking him to “calm down a bit”.
The Taylor Swift fan not only made his dream come true but also went viral on social media. A video of the security guard singing in front of the stage was even seen by more than 6 million people on TikTok.
“Ultimately, not getting any tickets was a blessing,” said Davis Perrigo.
