Royal life requires “hard work,” says Princess of Wales

The Princess of Wales entrusted royal life to schoolchildren.

During a visit to the Chelsea Flower Show in London, Kate Middleton was questioned by the children about her life and, more importantly, about her life as the Princess of Wales.

In video of the event, obtained by the Chron, one of the students asked the future Queen of England, “How does it feel to be a princess?”

The Princess of Wales replied: “You have to work hard… But you know, the most interesting thing is meeting children like you.”

The outing also included a meeting with members of the veterans’ group Chelsea Pensioners.

Kate Middleton met Prince William at St. Andrew’s University in Scotland and began dating him. They went on a brief hiatus in 2007, but reunited later that year and were married in April 2011 in a ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have three children: Prince George, aged nine, Princess Charlotte, aged eight, and Prince Louis, aged five. The couple celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary last month.
