Emma Heming Willis shares a family update.

Heming Willis is married to actor Bruce Willis, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia earlier this year and is supported by his family, which includes his 9-year-old daughter Evelyn.

Heming Willis took to Instagram with a video explaining the latest.

“So I have to tell you this story, and I’m going to try to do it without crying,” she said. “Because when Evelyn told me that story, I was an absolute jerk.”

She went on to explain that her daughter researched “fun facts about dementia” and made a list for her father at school.

Heming Willis continued, “It’s not funny, but it’s kind of funny. And she really is her father’s child, because these two love random facts. So I said to her, “Evelyn, we’ll always make sure dad has a bottle of water in hand.” Thank you for letting me know. But the most loving and compassionate thing you can do is be curious and educate yourself about your father’s illness.’”

The couple also have 11-year-old daughter Mabel, and Willis is father to daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Willis with his ex-wife Demi Moore. Willis also recently became a grandfather for the first time.
