Shakira and Tom Cruise at the Formula 1 GP

After they were spotted together at the Miami Formula 1 GP and sparked rumors of love, the singer has said Shakira would have asked the actor Tom Cruise “Leave her alone” and “stop flirting with her,” says English magazine Heat.
“She doesn’t want to embarrass or upset him, but there’s no attraction or romance on her part. She just wanted to be friendly. She’s flattered but not interested,” says a source.
According to the magazine, however, the singer’s message was conveyed to the actor in a polite manner.
Tom Cruise interested
Shakira and Tom Cruise attended the Miami Formula 1 GP on May 7th. The two walked the Stars Walk together in the paddock and were seen another time chatting in the stands of the Miami International Autodrome.
According to a source on the site Page Six, the actor would be “extremely keen” to hook the Colombian. “The chemistry is right,” said the person. Tom Cruise is said to have sent Shakira flowers the day after they met.
However, after the GP, Shakira was spotted in two encounters with F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, sparking affair rumours. In the first, the two were spotted at a restaurant in Miami, USA. The second, in turn, was on a boat trip in Miami Beach, accompanied by friends.
Shakira moved to Miami last month after divorcing former Barcelona and Spain defender Gerard Pique. They split after she found out the player was having an affair outside of her marriage. They have been together for 11 years and have two children: Milan (10) and Sasha (8).
