Chinese interference Johnston hides it

Chinese interference: Johnston hides it!

There will be no public inquiry into Chinese interference in the Canadian election process. The “Special Rapporteur” David Johnston therefore defended Justin Trudeau and his Chinese friends.

“Intelligence information must be kept secret,” says Johnston. Yes! To protect Trudeau and the Liberals. That does not surprise me. Trudeau himself and some of his ministers would have been the focus of such a public inquiry.

JUSTIN closed his eyes

The evidence of Beijing’s interference in our democracy is irrefutable, as is the prime minister’s refusal to take the Beijing threat seriously. For years he did everything he could to prevent Chinese interference in the Liberal Party and even in the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation, of which David Johnston was a member. Johnston has denied being close to the Trudeaus. Neighbors, casual acquaintances, he says. He has also maintained close relations with China for over 40 years. Her three daughters are graduates of Chinese universities.

Johnston criticized the CSIS agent for “leaking” information about Chinese interference and accused the media of “misreporting” it. In my opinion, the secret agent deserves the Order of Canada for his courage in opening the case.

For years, CSIS has warned of foreign interference in Canadian politics in its annual reports. But the only thing that has compelled Trudeau to act is the proliferation of media leaks.

Poorly communicated but true

Here is some of that information that has been misinterpreted by the media. The Globe also reported on Friday that then-Secretary for Public Safety Bill Blair delayed approving a wiretapping warrant against Michael Chan, a former cabinet minister, ahead of the 2021 election. Ontario Liberal and party fundraiser who is currently Deputy Mayor of Ontario City of Markham. Chan has been targeted by CSIS for years because of his ties to the Chinese consulate in Toronto.

Other “top secret” CSIS documents obtained by the Globe say China funded at least 11 candidates in the 2019 election. She and her associates have direct ties to a “known or suspected” Chinese government agent.

David Johnston recommends that the leaders of three opposition parties be allowed to read the classified part of his report but not reveal anything about it.

Not only should the Chinese diplomats be expelled, but the Canadians involved in the encroachments should also be sentenced to prison for espionage.

Furthermore, the Chinese are not the only ones who want to manipulate our political parties. Other countries that have influential minorities in Canada are doing the same.
