Lotto-Max: $70M jackpot unclaimed after 11 months

The lucky Lotto Max ticket holder could well miss his chance at becoming a millionaire if he doesn’t claim his $70 million prize before June 28th.

The lottery ticket, purchased nearly a year ago in Toronto’s Scarborough borough, has not yet been collected and will soon expire, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) said.

This ticket was a winner of the drawing on June 28, 2022 with the following numbers: 8, 19, 22, 41, 42, 46, 47 and the bonus number 10.

Whether it’s in a coat pocket, purse, vehicle glove compartment, or even a kitchen drawer, OLG invites those who may have purchased the winning ticket to check where they may have kept it.

Note that a lottery ticket is valid for one year after the drawing. It therefore expires on June 28, 2023, unless the prize is claimed before that date.

“If this LOTTO MAX ticket expires on June 28, 2022, the $70 million prize will be carried over through bonus games or future promotions,” the High Court said in a statement.
