In the wake of If we still loved each other In the show that aired Wednesday night, Emmanuelle made a derogatory comment about men working in construction. Her husband, who is in business himself, did not have a chance to defend himself while Emmanuelle still had much to say to him.

After the episode aired, the contestant’s comment sparked controversy on social media. Many viewers expressed their displeasure in a series of comments, which were quickly removed from the web by the team.
The situation began to deteriorate when the couple, made up of Jérémie and Emmanuelle, ate lunch in a moment of turmoil.
Emmanuelle decided to break the awkward silence to tell an anecdote about how the stucco walls of one of her old apartments were made.
Jeremy didn’t find it relevant and couldn’t help but point it out to his companion.

This did not go down well with Emmanuelle.
In fact, the way Jérémie responded clearly made Emmanuelle feel that she was being attacked, especially in terms of her intelligence, and she didn’t hesitate to retaliate without restraint:
“You’re not recognized for your superior intelligence,” she said, referring to the construction industry.
From the outset, Jérémie accused him of falling into stereotypes, and Emmanuelle hastened to add:

The comment, classified as “inappropriate”, caused a lot of anger among netizens on social networks and the situation quickly began to get tense:
