Ryan Gosling makes a surprise appearance on the Barbie soundtrack – after the full track list was revealed on Thursday.

The actor, who stars alongside Margot Robbie Ken in the upcoming film, is listed alongside the likes of Dua Lipa, Ice Spice, Lizzo, Charli XCX and more.

It’s not Gosling’s first foray into music, as he previously co-fronted indie band Dead Man’s Bones.

Gosling, 42, also showcased his singing talents in the Oscar-winning song “La La Land.”

It has also been confirmed that the following artists will appear on the Barbie recording: Ava Max, Dominic Fike, FIFTY FIFTY, Gayle, Haim, Kali, Karol G, Khalid, Nicki Minaj, Pink Pantheress, Tame Impala and The Kid Laroi.

Alice Glass has also teased her gothic-tinged cover of Aqua’s 1997 hit spoof Barbie Girl, which is expected to be featured on Barbie: The Album.

Three-time Oscar nominee Greta Gerwig directed and co-wrote the $100 million comedy with her baby daddy Noah Baumbach, and they hired Oscar winner Helen Mirren to voice the first live-action Barbie.

“After being kicked out of Barbieland for not being a perfect doll, Barbie (Margot Robbie) heads out into the real world to find true happiness with a little help from Ken (Ryan Gosling),” it says in the log line.

Will Ferrell, John Cena, Simu Liu, Michael Cera, Alexandra Shipp, Kate McKinnon, Hari Nef, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, America Ferrera and Emerald Fennell also star in the Mattel fantasy film.

Lipa will also have a mysterious role in Matthew Vaughn’s Amnesia spy film Argylle, which premieres on Apple TV+ later this year.

The film, based on the upcoming novel by Ellie Conway, will also star Henry Cavill, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, John Cena, Samuel L. Jackson and Ariana DeBose.
