Russian attacks hit homes and businesses in regions of Ukraine: “Very difficult night,” says governor G1

According to local authorities, in the early morning hours of this Friday (26), in addition to Kiev, several regions in eastern Ukraine were hit by Russian attacks. Houses, shops and buildings were hit. At the time of publication of this report, no information was available on fatalities or injuries.

Dnepropetrovsk regional governor Serhiy Lysak said the region had “suffered” from drone and missile attacks.

“It was a very difficult night. It was loud the enemy launched a massive attack on the region using missiles and drones. Dnipro suffered,” he wrote in a messaging app.

In Kiev, the roof of a shopping center, a house and several cars were damaged. The governor of the Kharkiv region also reported damage to several houses and industrial facilities.

A total of 17 missiles and 31 drones were fired in the attacks. Ukrainian officials said they shot down ten Russianlaunched missiles and more than 20 drones.

The attacks began around 10 p.m. on Thursday (25th) and lasted until 5 a.m. local time on Friday.

The military said Russia had shifted the focus of the attacks to disrupt preparations for a Ukrainian counterattack.
