Aaron Boone was kicked out again early Thursday night.

The manager was knocked out for the second time in four games – and third in the last 10 – in a 3-1 loss to the Orioles at Yankee Stadium.

Boone was thrown by home plate umpire Edwin Moscoso for arguing about balls and strikes midway through the third inning, with Statcast showing at least several pitches from Clarke Schmidt, labeled balls, were in the strike zone were located.

“I shouldn’t have been left out of this game,” Boone said.

The manager said he was surprised by the sacking and more upset by it – and Moscoso’s “dismissive” behavior – than by the calls themselves.

“He didn’t want to take care of me,” Boone said. “I really didn’t do that much [from the dugout]. I thought something outrageous was going on and he was very dismissive. … I don’t think being thrown out was justified in any way.”

Schmidt went through the first three innings unscathed but needed 29 pitches to get through the first inning and threw 97 pitches in his five-inning outing.

After being kicked out by Moscoso, Boone came on the field and yelled at him, and he may have spat at Moscoso, which could warrant a ban, although Boone said he didn’t think so.

“I hope not,” Boone said.

Boone grew visibly more angry when Moscoso turned and walked away from him, and the manager was restrained by team boss Chris Guccione and backup coach Carlos Mendoza, but Boone insisted he would not attack Moscoso.

He also made it clear that despite his frustration with Moscoso — and his recent tendency to get banned from games — he’s not in favor of introducing an automated ball drop system into the majors like the one used in this triple-A season, which is being used by the Yankees pitchers Luis Severino and Ryan Weber received negative reviews.

“I’m not advocating robo-umps,” Boone said. “I think for the most part these guys are doing a great job and working really hard at it. If you play for a lot, then [are] There will be a few problems from time to time. As simple as that.”

Boone was also sent off in Sunday’s Yankees win over the Reds in Cincinnati.

In this case, he was thrown at the end of the first inning after a retest went in the Reds’ favor and felt right fielder Jake Bauers had botched a flyball in fair territory rather than committing a foul.

Boone wasn’t arguing with that part, but rather with the fact that the umpires allowed Jonathan India to score from first base.

During the live game, first base umpire Nestor Ceja hinted that it was a foul ball, giving Bauers no reason to get up quickly after attempting to slide and try to throw home to reach India.

But team boss Brian O’Nora announced that the Reds’ challenge was successful and that Spencer Steer’s flyball was indeed fit for a double, also saying that India would get home plate.
