On May 24th, Turner died of natural causes at his home near Zurich, Switzerland, his representative said.

Tina Turner’s battle with kidney disease
Page Six points out that the “What’s Love Got to Do with It” performer opened up about her struggle with her two months before her death kidney disease.
“My kidneys are victims not to notice [sic] that my high blood pressure should have been treated with conventional medicine,” he wrote on Instagram on March 9 International Kidney Day.
“I put myself in great danger by refusing to face reality I need daily and lifelong medication therapy. “For too long I’ve believed my body to be an untouchable and indestructible bastion,” he added at the time.
