A town hall meeting held by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in Queens on Friday night ended in farce when the hothead was called a “piece of shit” and berated for her views on Ukraine, migrants, drag queen story hours and the debt Ceiling.
The meeting took place in the Corona district, the constituency of the AOC. Her constituents weren’t exactly in the mood for welcoming, especially as City Hall moved to the question-and-answer phase.
“American citizens before migrants,” shouted one heckler. Others chanted, “America first.”
Another shouted, ‘We are on the brink of nuclear war with Russia.’ Are you going to end this war?’ shouted another, according to video captured by conservative activist group Freedom News TV.
The video shows a protester wearing a Cuban T-shirt and waving miniature American flags being taken away by security after repeatedly calling AOC a “piece of shit” and asking, “How do you feel about the migrant issue?”
An Iraqi veteran tried to defend the Bronx-born Democrat by saying, ‘Immigrants don’t have anything to do with veterans, that’s just an excuse.’ We all traveled mostly through Ellis Island.’ At that point, a protester interjected, “Legal!”

The meeting was bombarded with protesters, a man was led out after calling the congresswoman a “piece of shit”.
AOC protesters wanted to know why the congresswoman continues to advocate sending billions to Ukraine while many are fighting in Queens and the Bronx

Another woman was removed as she yelled, “Stop funding this war, there are many communities that need help and this money.” I come from this community.
“I don’t like that Republicans passed a $1.7 trillion tax cut for the richest people in this country,” said the crowd to great applause.

The congresswoman was loudly criticized by a protester for voting to transfer $100 billion to Ukraine after the Russian invasion, after backing the lifting of the debt ceiling.
When this protester was shouted down by someone who told him to wait his turn, he replied: “Freedom of speech!”
President Joe Biden said a deal to resolve the government crisis appeared “very close” late Friday, even as the deadline for a potentially catastrophic default has been pushed back to June 5 and negotiations between the White House and Republicans are likely in another frustrating week would draw.
Social media posts by the AOC team after Friday’s town hall made no reference to the protesters.
“Thank you to everyone who attended Corona City Hall tonight in May!” “We had such a great turnout, even over Memorial Day weekend!” reads a Facebook post from their official page.
“It’s been great answering all your questions, discussing the debt ceiling negotiations and more.” “See you next month!” the congresswoman tweeted in a separate post.

In 2022, AOC famously danced to protesters at a city hall who banged drums to urge them to resign.
The grinning congresswoman shrugged off the aggressive criticism while sipping from a water bottle and beginning to shrug her shoulders in time to the chants.
She sat on a stage the entire time and kept smiling, even as an angry woman appeared ready to burn with anger as she screamed herself hoarse from the seats.
Comedian Alex Stein posted a video of AOC telling the crowd to “Listen!”
He jokingly wrote, “I can’t even put into words how much it turns me on when AOC talks like that!”
Some scolded the incumbent MP for her apparent disregard for the views of the people who put her in office.
‘You are [sic] Your own constituents harassed you the other night and you just started dancing and humiliating them? Hopefully they actually wake up and realize that you don’t have a single law to pass for them or anyone else, and they will vote you out of office!” wrote Brent Smith.
A user with the username @nashland wrote: ‘You are an embarrassment and a disgrace when you sit and dance at your town hall meeting instead of addressing the very serious issues people are raising.’ You think war is funny?’
Tiffany Justice, co-founder of parental rights group Moms for Liberty, wrote, “Any good leader would be considerate of voters who are upset with her leadership.” Not this woman.
“Watch AOC sit with her legs apart and her wife dance and stick her tongue out at her as they tell her they want her out of office.” Disgusting,” she said.
As the shouts in the room grew louder, AOC said to a man in the crowd, “Very classy, thank you sir.”
Earlier this week, AOC mocked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ campaign launch, saying on Twitter that more people were watching her play video games than his announcement.
This month, the congresswoman made headlines for openly referring to the May Day stranglehold death of homeless Michael Jackson impersonator Jordan Neely at the hands of the Marine veteran.
She tweeted before charges were filed that Neely’s “killer” would be “protected” while “many rulers demonize the poor.”
