Taylor Swift’s Cornelia Street New York townhouse, which she has now rented for sale

Taylor Swift definitely has the Midas touch… and a place she lived – a place that inspired one of her wildly popular songs – is now on the market for a royal ransom.
In 2016, Taylor rented a townhouse in the West Village of New York. She obviously loved the 500-square-foot, four-bedroom apartment and lived there for more than a year.
In fact, Taylor liked it so much that she wrote a song about it – “Cornelia Street”. The song — a fan favorite – is included in her album “Lover”. One of the lyrics… “I’m renting an apartment on Cornelia Street.”
The townhouse – owned by an Italian investor – has been listed by real estate agent Corcoran Group Laurence Carty earlier this month. It was listed for rent – $45,000 per month plus an additional $5,000 if the renter wants it furnished.
Now we’ve learned that the Italian wants to sell it for $17,995,000.
Aside from some amazing features, including a 30-foot indoor pool and a rooftop terrace with downtown views, the fact that Taylor lived there must add some value.
The timing is perfect – you have to assume it’s more than coincidence that the house is for sale in the middle of Taylor’s Eras tour hottest ticket in the world.
