Matty Healy rebelliously refused to comment directly on his relationship with Taylor Swift as he opened his band The 1975’s set at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Dundee, Scotland on Saturday.

The group’s 34-year-old frontman casually alluded to the romance, but declined to mention Taylor’s name or say more about their apparent connection.

Addressing the audience at the event, Matty said, “Is that all a bit?” Is it sincere? Will he ever deal with it? All of these questions and more will be ignored for the next hour. Ladies and gentlemen, this is The 1975.’

Musician Matty was seen on stage in a white lab coat while holding a bottle of red wine while his supportive mother, Loose Women star Denice Welch, watched from the edge of the stage.

Singer Matty is said to be planning to move in with Taylor after just a few weeks of dating.

The 1975 frontman is said to be settling in New York with the superstar while they work on their new album together.

According to The Sun, Matty, who was revealed to be meeting the singer earlier this month, has already shipped his favorite guitar effects pedals, audio interfaces, synths and MacBook Pro to town before moving.

A source told the publication, “He and Taylor are so in love and want to spend as much time together as possible.”

“Matty has already told the 1975 team that he will be doing all of the band’s demos in America for the foreseeable future.”

“He will be working on his parts for her collaboration while she’s on tour and has set aside time to attend select shows to gather inspiration for her next album.”

Web contacted representatives for Taylor and Matty for comment.

The pair are currently in different parts of the world, with Taylor performing in New Jersey on Saturday night as part of her sold-out Eras world tour.

Just days ago it was revealed that the Love Story hitmaker had enlisted her new boyfriend to help him write tracks for her new album.

This comes after Taylor recently made a very revealing comment while chatting on stage in Boston during her Eras tour.

The singer wowed the crowds at Foxborough and gave her adoring fans a life update amid her alleged new romance with rocker Matty.

Speaking on stage, Taylor looked incredible in her sparkly green outfit and said from the bottom of her heart, “It’s crazy.” Somehow I just want to tell you that I don’t know, that just… “I was still never been so happy in my life, in all aspects of my life.”

“And I just want to thank you for being a part of it. It’s not just the tour, I don’t know, my life finally feels like it makes sense.
