The Kamloops Blazers bounced back from Friday’s poor performance against the Remparts to post a convincing 10-2 win over the Peterborough Petes on Sunday.
Patrick Roy’s men had beaten the competition’s host club 8-3 on Friday evening.
The Blazers’ big guns took matters into their own hands against the Petes. 2021 Dallas Stars second-round pick Logan Stankoven had five points (one goal and four assists) on offense.
Connor Levis, Jakub Demek and Matthew Seminoff each delivered a three-point performance.
Montreal Canadiens hopeful Owen Beck was removed from the score sheet.
Avery Hayes and Quinton Pagé were the only two goalscorers for Peterborough.
The Petes are aiming for their first win of the tournament on Tuesday against the Remparts.
The Blazers are enjoying two days off before resuming play against the Seattle Thunderbirds on Wednesday.
The next round-robin match is on Monday, where the Thunderbirds take on the Remparts.
