They left nostalgia: remember the already deceased actors of Mulheres Apaixonadas TV

Mulheres Apaixonadas returned to the Globo screen on Monday (29th) at the Vale a Pena Ver de Novo. Chapters will bring home to viewers images of famous actors who took part in the telenovela and are no longer with us. Oswaldo Louzada (19122008), Carmen Silva (19162008) and Claudio Marzo (19402015) are among the artists who left the company.

Louzada and Carmen received a great response in Mulheres Apaixonadas for the roles of Leopoldo and Flora, the grandparents abused by Dóris (Regiane Alves).

The two died in the same year and from the same cause: both suffered multiple organ failure, he was 95 years old in February 2008 and she was 92 years old in April of the same year.

Claudio Marzo also stood out in Mulheres Apaixonadas. He played Rafael, manager of the hotel where much of the story takes place, and exhusband of Lorena (Susana Vieira). The actor, who was a heartthrob in the productions ‘Globo’ and ‘Manchete’, died in 2015 at the age of 74 after suffering from lung problems stemming from his cigarette addiction.

Still at the core of Rio de Janeiro’s high society, Mulheres Apaixonadas, two actors left nostalgia behind. Marly Bueno (19332012) and Serafim Gonzalez (19342007) played Marta and Onofre, the parents of Cláudio (Erik Marmo). He was also a doctor at the soap opera’s hospital.

Marly died in 2012 at the age of 78 from an infection following emergency bowel surgery. Gonzalez left the company in 2007 at the age of 72 due to respiratory failure. The same problem led to the death of Manoelita Lustosa, the actress who played Inês, mother of Fernanda (Vanessa Gerbelli) and grandmother of Salete (Bruna Marquezine) on the series.

The actress Sônia Guedes (19322019) played the character Matilde, mother of César (José Mayer), the lover of the protagonist Helena (Christiane Torloni) in Mulheres Apaixonadas. After the Globo soap opera, Sônia starred in Record and SBT productions such as Amor e Intrigas (2008) and Chiquititas (2013). She died in 2019 at the age of 86 after losing her battle with cancer.

The disease was also the cause of death of Caco Baresi (19602015), who played Orlando, father of Gracinha (Carol Castro), on the Globo soap opera. He couldn’t resist a lung tumor that had metastasized. The actor died in 2015 at the age of 54.

Finally, Umberto Magnani (19412016) is also missing. The actor was recording scenes for the soap opera Velho Chico (2016) when he suffered a stroke on his birthday. He underwent surgery but didn’t fight back and died two days later, in April 2016, at the age of 75.
