“I always feel, ‘I hope they’ll like it.’ There’s never a moment where I think, ‘They’re going to like this.’

Getting real: This week, the Israeli star opened up to L’Officiel magazine about her insecurities while posing for glamorous photos
It was a huge Hollywood icon who helped calm her nerves.
“I remember talking to Francis Ford Coppola and asking him, ‘How does it feel to be a national treasure?'” she told writer Hannah Jackson.
Coppola is best known for his The Godfather trilogy.
“He said, ‘You know, something? I’m always full of doubts. I’m always afraid they won’t like it. I just follow my heart and approach it with humility.” I think that was one of the biggest lessons.”
She added, “I’m sitting with the legend Francis Ford Coppola and he’s talking about how humble and insecure he can get.” I was like, ‘okay, I can be insecure all the time.’
Her next film is Heart of Stone, in which she stars and is also producing with her husband Jaron Versano.
“With Wonder Woman, we really succeeded in proving that as long as the story is universal, it’s good,” she shared.
“I felt there was a place for a female-led action film that would be suitable for everyone, but darker, grittier, and more grounded than a polished superhero film.”
Funny feeling: “It’s weird, I always feel like I have this impostor syndrome because I feel so lucky and so lucky to be able to do what I really, really, really love,” the brunette noted beauty
The downside: “I always feel like, ‘I hope they like it,'” the movie icon admitted
“Normally as an actor you get the script and you can discuss it with your filmmaker, but that’s the way it is.” In a way it’s super easy; You need to worry about anything. But there’s something so energizing and exciting about creating something from scratch.
She loves that her character is flawed.
“I’ve already done the superhero and it was fun and I wanted to show a real human being.”
“I wanted to create a woman who learned to do everything on her own.” She can never be an open book; She can’t trust anyone completely.
“And that’s one of the reasons I love Tom Harper, our director, because I remember watching Wild Rose with Jessie Buckley. It’s a tiny story, but he managed to frame it in a way that’s very character driven. For me it was more important to bring in a director who values emotional performance and the story rather than the way the action looks.
And she enjoys working with her spouse.
“Jaron and I have always agreed. He comes from the business background and we had a really big opportunity when he sold his entire company [real estate] Portfolio in Tel Aviv.
“He either wanted to continue in real estate or work with me, and I said, ‘Let’s work together’ because he was the missing piece. Jaron has the business acumen and who else can look after my interests better than my life partner.
Will you like it? “There’s never a moment where I’m like, ‘They’re going to like this,'” shared the successful actress

She hopes audiences will be amazed.
“We wanted it to be suspenseful and exciting and to keep people engaged, and not just a story where you can tell what the ending will be like,” Gal said.
“It’s a difficult question for me in terms of inspiration because we tried not to borrow too much from others.”
“We made a big movie like the Mission: Impossible and Bond movies. We shot in five different locations. For us it was important that we did almost everything that we could have done in terms of action. But we really tried to create an original piece and I hope it feels that way.”
They shot in Iceland, Morocco, Lisbon, London and Italy in the Alps.
“They’re all special.” I have to say I really enjoyed Lisbon because I’ve never been there. I enjoyed everything about it, both the people and the food and the culture. It was so easy to film there. There was good energy.’

Snow White comes later, where she plays the villain.
“It was a great change. I can’t believe I got to play the evil queen, the first evil villain in Disney history.
“I can sing and explore my theatrical evil dark side.” For the first four days I was really into the character, which means I had a hard time getting out of the character, I was so into it.
“It’s like doing theatre.” Everything is bigger. Everything is more dramatic. It was much fun.’
