Ivanka Trump made a stunning — but largely under the spotlight — performance at the royal wedding of the year on Thursday, where she was spotted chatting to a very prominent royal: Prince William.
The former first daughter, 41, and her husband Jared Kushner, 42, flew to Jordan earlier this week to attend the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein and his new wife Rajwa – after enjoying a trip to Greece the days before.
Ivanka and Jared were among a number of high-profile guests at the event — including First Lady Jill Biden, whose husband, President Joe Biden, was heavily criticized by Ivanka’s father, former President Donald Trump.
Not surprisingly, the former first daughter wasn’t pictured spending time with Jill, 71, but could be seen having a quiet chat with Prince William, 40, whom she met four years ago when the family Trump was on an official trip to the UK and met several members of the royal family.

Ivanka didn’t mention her conversation with William — or any of the other guests she may have seen during the event.
Their meeting comes four years after mother-of-three Ivanka first met the Prince and Princess of Wales – then the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – when she was accompanying her father on a three-day trip to the UK where she was celebrating his 75th birthday. Anniversary celebrations of D-Day.
William and Ivanka weren’t pictured together during the Trumps’ trip, but they both attended a state banquet at Buckingham Palace, so it’s likely their paths crossed at least once.
During the same visit, Ivanka was spotted spending time with William’s younger brother Prince Harry, 38, who chatted with the then-first daughter while she and her father enjoyed a tour of the royal collection at the palace.
President Joe Biden’s wife Jill and daughter Ashley were also present at the event – but were not seen spending time with Ivanka and Jared
A day after the wedding, Ivanka shared a congratulatory message to the happy couple on her Instagram, where she posted a picture of the newlyweds during the ceremony

Donald Trump himself has made no secret of his love for the British monarchy – going so far as to describe himself as a “friend and admirer of the British monarchy”. [late] Queen.’
After the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the former President wrote a moving tribute to , praising her “grace, charm and nobility”.
But he also wanted to express his admiration for the next heir to the throne.
“While we mourn,” he wrote, “we are comforted that King Charles III. will be a great and outstanding successor…Melania and I have been fortunate to get to know him well…he will be an inspiration to the British people.”
However, he expressed much less praise for President Joe Biden – and had previously taken verbal digs at him and his family.
Trump has repeatedly called the Biden administration “the worst in history” and called his political rival “incompetent.”
In April, he also echoed allegations by Rep. James Comer accusing the Biden family of large-scale corruption, the same day the president launched his re-election campaign.
And so it’s likely Ivanka Trump and Jill Biden didn’t interact at the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and his new wife Rajwa.

Before heading to Jordan for the royal wedding, the couple spent several days on a romantic trip in Greece – where they toured many of the country’s historical landmarks.
Ivanka documented much of the trip on her Instagram account, where she gushed about how much her visit to the country meant to her.
“During the pandemic I re-read The Odyssey and fell in love all over again with Homer’s epic (I loved Robert Fitzgerald’s translation),” she wrote, alongside several photos from the trip.
“Following in the footsteps of Odysseus over the last few days has been an extraordinary experience – ancient ruins and mythical landscapes came alive before my eyes as I explored this stunning land.”
“Thank you Greece for bringing The Odyssey to life in the most enchanting way.”
“To new adventures and the spirit of Odysseus in all of us!”
It is not known if Ivanka and Jared have a particularly close connection to the Crown Prince of Jordan and his new wife, but it is known that the former first daughter has been friends with the mother of the newly wed royals, Queen Rania, in the past has.
According to Vanity Fair, in January 2017, just days before her father officially became president, Ivanka invited Rania to a meeting at her offices in Trump Tower in New York City.
Just a few months later, Queen Rania and her husband, King Abdullah II Hussein, traveled to the United States, where they met with then-President Trump and his wife Melania at the White House.
At the time, Rania wasn’t pictured with Ivanka, however, it’s likely the couple crossed paths at some point during the royals’ visit to DC
