Police are investigating video of an influencer handing a woman a wallet containing a banana
In the video, KéRollen asks if the woman wants R$5 or a gift. She decides on the gift and when she opens it, she sees that inside the box is a wallet filled with mashed bananas. The woman cries and then the influencer opens another wallet compartment and allegedly hands the woman more money.
Although only Kérolle can be seen in this video, the police are investigating the two influencers in the case because they present themselves as a duo on Instagram.
“They do the same thing as with the children and offer money or a gift,” notes delegate Rita Salim, Decradi’s main delegate. In the investigation launched into the videos made with the children, investigators found whether KéRollen and Nancy committed a crime of racism or racial abuse and whether they also violated the Children and Young People Act.

“Prince’s Day”
Accompanied by his mother, a child who had received a banana from influencers Kérolles Cunha and Nancy Gonçalves testified at the 74th DP (Alcântara) this Thursday (1st).
The boy’s mother said that this is not the first time he has been lured by influencers. Around three years ago, the influencers pretended that the boy had a “Prince’s Day”: They pretended that they would buy him sweets and give him clothes. In the end, the report said, the garments were returned to the store where filming took place.
According to delegate Luis Maurício Armond, in the last attack, which took place when the boy was selling sweets in front of a market, the child would have been extremely disappointed when he saw that the gift offered by the influencers was a banana.
