District Assistant Pastor Daniel de Castro (PL) proposed approving a motion to dismiss against influencers Kérolles Cunha and Nancy Gonçalves, who have been accused of racism for posting a video of them giving bananas and stuffed monkeys to black children.
“Unfortunately, the world has once again witnessed another absurd act of racism,” wrote the parliamentarian in the excerpt of the proposal submitted on Saturday (3 June).

“The behavior of influencers cannot be put into perspective. “The authorities must deal with this problem with the severity that the case deserves and requires so that a disgrace like what happened never happens again,” said the MP.

KéRollen and Nancy are under investigation by the civilian police and are also in the crosshairs of the Rio de Janeiro state ministry. The MPRJ Ombudsman received almost 700 complaints against Tiktoker.
In a note, KéRollen and Nancy’s defense said the videos had been taken out of context. “The influencers had no intention of promoting racism or insulting any individual or ethnic group,” he claimed.
