A twoyearold girl was killed and 22 others injured in a rocket attack on Saturday in Dnipro, Ukraine (3). According to local authorities, the attack was sponsored by Russia and hit a residential area of the city.

According to the regional government, the rocket hit two buildings and damaged houses. Governor Serhiy Lysak said the body of the deceased child was found in the rubble of a house.
At least 17 people injured in the attack have been taken to hospital. Five children are among the injured.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council Mykola Lukashuk reported that 17 children had died in the region since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022. According to the Attorney General’s Office, the war caused the deaths of 485 children across the country.
“No words can ease the pain of parents who have lost the most precious thing in their lives,” said Lukaschuk.
This Sunday (4) Russia launched new attacks against Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Force said it managed to intercept more than half of the air targets launched, including four cruise missiles and three drones.
